Adam Martin

Adam Martin is a principal lecturer of popular music and songwriting at Leeds Conservatoire where he teaches contextual studies, collaborative songwriting, individual songwriting and music production. He is a music producer and creator across several projects currently including the electronic experimental project ‘Nightports’ (Leaf Label) and a crossmodal interdisciplinary project called ‘Unusual Ingredients’ that explores the relationships between sound and taste. He is also an active researcher and since his doctoral research on music producers in the United Kingdom, he is now primarily interested in the study of creative collaboration, creative music production and creativity itself.
