Amanda Hamp

Amanda Hamp is an assistant professor of dance at the University of New Mexico, where she teaches dance practice and dance studies. Her research integrates practice and theory, and focuses on how contemporary, experimental dance artists choreograph experience for performance. Her articles have been published in Choreographic Practices, Theatre Topics, and TDR. She is a cofounding member of AGA Collaborative, a trio of dance artist-scholars who collaborate across geographic distance and in residencies together on performance and research projects.
