Daniel Martin

Daniel Martin is associate professor in the Department of English at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. His work on speech dysfluencies has appeared most recently in A Cultural History of Disability in the Long Nineteenth Century (edited by Joyce Huff and Martha Stoddard Holmes), Victorian Review and the Canadian Journal of Disability Studies. He has also published in the Journal of Victorian Culture, Victorian Review, Victorian Literature and Culture, and Blackwell’s A Companion to Sensation Fiction (edited by Pamela K. Gilbert). His current book project is tentatively entitled The Stammerer’s Complaint: An Archaeology of Victorian Dysfluencies.
