Elizabeth Marshall

Elizabeth Marshall is an associate professor at Simon Fraser University. Her research interests include children’s and young adult literature, life writing, childhood, graphic narratives and popular culture. She is the author of The Drinking Curriculum: A Cultural History of Childhood and Alcohol (Fordham University Press, 2024), Graphic Girlhoods: Visualizing Education and Violence (Routledge, 2018) and co-author (with Leigh Gilmore) of Witnessing Girlhood (Fordham University Press, 2019). With Kenneth Kidd (University of Florida) she co-edits the Children’s Literature and Culture series at Routledge.
