Gillian Doyle

Gillian Doyle is professor of media economics at Glasgow University based in the Centre for Cultural Policy Research. She has led numerous funded research projects and her work on media economics and policy and on the impact of digitization has been published in several languages. A former president of the Association for Cultural Economics International, Gillian recently served on the Future of Media Commission in Ireland. She is principal investigator on ‘PSM and the digital challenge’, a major project funded by the UK Economic & Social Research Council that examines the remit, value and funding of public service media.
