Jacopo Benci

Jacopo Benci is Senior Research Fellow in Modern Studies and Contemporary Visual Culture at The British School at Rome. A visual artist who works across media, he has lectured and published since 2003 on the works of Michelangelo Antonioni and Pier Paolo Pasolini; in 2013–15 he was co-investigator in a British Academy/Leverhulme Trust-funded research project on the work of Italian photographer Luigi Ghirri (a volume Benci co-edited, Luigi Ghirri and the Photography of Place: Interdisciplinary Perspectives, is forthcoming).
