Jason Luger

Jason Luger is an urban geographer, researcher and lecturer in City and Regional Planning and Global Urban Humanities at the University of California, Berkeley. His academic research focuses on the production of urban space, activist geographies and authoritarian urbanism, and has been featured in journals such as Antipode, CITY, Geoforum, Media and Culture and the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research. He recently published a co-edited volume (with Dr Julie Ren) entitled Art and the City: Worlding the Discussion through a Critical Artscape (Routledge, 2017). Jason is a native of Durham, North Carolina.
