John Wills

John Wills is a professor of American popular culture at the University of Kent. An interdisciplinary scholar with interests in western and environmental history, Disney studies and game studies, his most recent publications are Disney Culture (Rutgers University Press, 2017) and Gamer Nation: Video Games and American Culture (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2019). John exhibited his work on video games at the British Academy (Summer 2018), and recently contributed to Van Burnham’s much-anticipated Supercade: A Visual History of the Videogame Age 1985–2001 (Dynamite Entertainment, 2022).
