Jorge Sacido-Romero

Jorge Sacido-Romero is a senior lecturer in English at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He has published on the short fiction of Conrad, Woolf and Galloway and is the editor of Modernism, Postmodernism and the Short Story in English (Rodopi, 2012), and the co-editor (with Sylvia Mieszkowski) of Sound Effects: The Object Voice in Fiction (Brill, 2015) and (with Laura Lojo-Rodríguez) of Gender and Short Fiction: Women’s Tales in Contemporary Britain (Routledge, 2018). He has supervised two research projects on the British short story and presently co-supervises the project Intersections: Gender and Identity in the Short Fiction of Contemporary British Women Writers, funded by the Government of Spain (Ref. FEM2017-83084-P – AEI/FEDER). He is a member of the steering committee of the European Network for Short Fiction Research and an editorial consultant of Journal of the Short Story in English.
