Julia Heim
Julia Heim is a lecturer of Italian studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on LGBTQIA+ representation in contemporary Italian television. She has articles forthcoming in Italian Studies and Antonio Tamburri's edited collection Diversity in Italian Studies and has most recently edited Queering Italian Media (Lexington Press, 2020) with Sole Anatrone. She is on the advisory committee of the Queer Studies Caucus of the American Association of Italian Studies, and is a co-founder of Asterisk, an LGBTQIA+ inclusivity taskforce.
