Libby Byrne

Dr Libby Byrne works as an artist who follows the invitation and discovery of art into new ways of being with people in liminal spaces. Within her studio practice, Libby works with ideas, images and experiences to extend the way we think, perceive and respond to questions of meaning and existence. Over recent years Libby has been developing a growing body of internationally recognized art-based research in the emerging field of practice-led theological inquiry. Her work addresses the nature and significance of art, both made and received, in the process of healing and the experience of living with illness and in health.
