Luca Barra

Luca Barra is an associate professor at Università di Bologna, Department of the Arts, where he teaches radio and television history, contemporary TV series and digital media. His research mainly focuses on television production and distribution cultures, the international circulation of media products (and their national mediations), comedy and humorous TV genres and the evolution of the contemporary media landscape. He has written three books and many articles in journals and collections. He is the principal investigator of the ‘Distribution, Adaptation, Circulation (DAC)’ research project.
