Luca Peretti

Luca Peretti is visiting assistant professor in contemporary Italian studies at The Ohio State University, USA. He works on industrial and ephemeral cinema, Italian Jewish culture, terrorism and cinema and Italian culture in the twentieth century. He has published in The Italianist: Film Issue, Senses of Cinema, Quest: Issues in Contemporary Jewish History and Comunicazioni Sociali, among others. Together with Vanessa Roghi, he edited the volume Immagini di piombo. Cinema, storia e terrorismi in Europa (Postmediabooks, 2013), and with Karen T. Raizen he co-edited a book on Pier Paolo Pasolini (Pier Paolo Pasolini, Framed and Unframed: A Thinker for the Twenty-First Century, Bloomsbury, 2019). He has worked as a journalist, film curator and festival organizer.
