Malcolm MacLean

Malcolm MacLean is a settler scholar from Aotearoa New Zealand, working in the United Kingdom. His research focuses on historical studies of Indigeneity and coloniality in sport and movement cultures and on the philosophy of play. He is based at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and is a senior research associate at the University of Gibraltar. His most recent book is the co-edited Play and Democracy: Philosophical Perspectives (2022).
