Naz Yeni
Naz Yeni trained at Ankara State Conservatoire and Birmingham School of Speech & Drama. After a career in professional theatre as a performer, she developed an interest in teaching drama, dance, English and retired from the industry. Her acting credits included performing in the chorus for City of Birmingham Touring Opera and as Lady Macbeth for Creation Theatre Company in Oxford. She finds her academic research and her artistic work complement each other closely and starting her Ph.D. prompted her to return as a theatre director and creative producer. Her directing credits include Turkish State Theatres and Arcola Theatre in London.
