Nils Klevjer Aas
Nils Klevjer Aas is Head of Analysis at the Norwegian Film Institute. He holds a cand.philol. degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has lectured and published extensively on film appreciation,film history and film and cinema industry policy. A former Director General of the National Film Board of Norway, he was Executive Director of the European Audiovisual Observatory (1997–2000) before returning to his current position in Norway. He has served as the Norwegian representative to the Board of Management of Eurimages since 2001 and the European Audiovisual Observatory since 2004.
