THE SOUTHWEST OF ENGLAND CIDERMAKERS ASSOCIATION
Formed in 1937 as the Association of Somerset Cidermakers; in 1967 became the
Somerset and Devon Cidermakers Association, then in 1974 Avon was added, and,
finally, in 1983 took its present name as the Southwest of England Cidermakers
Association.It exists to represent and promote the interests of those engaged in the cider
making industry in the South West of England in particular. Membership is open
to bona fide cider makers who make for sale not less than 1000 gallons per
annum.
