Paola Casella
Paola Casella is a journalist and film critic who is responsible for the arts and entertainment section of the daily paper Europa. She contributes to the Sunday issue of Corriere della sera, for which she also writes the column Casting. She contributes to the blogs Marilyn and La 27esima Ora su ‘Corriere.it’, and authors articles for CineCritica, Elle, Vanity Fair and the website MyMovies. Among her publications on cinema: Hollywood Italian (Baldini & Castoldi, 1998) won the Donna Città di Roma/Woman City of Rome Award in 1999, and Cinema: femminile, plural/Cinema: Female Plural (Le Mani, 2010), winner of the Domenico Meccoli Award as Best Film Book by an Italian author 2010. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Italian Film Critics and has served as member of the jury of Fipresci at the Cannes, Venezia and Torino Film Festivals.
