Sarah Gibson Yates
Sarah Gibson Yates is a senior lecturer and course leader for the Combined Hons. BA in film and media at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. She has published research articles on film and creative writing, three short stories, and exhibited films in national and international film festivals. With a background in filmmaking, film education and film programming, her research now centres on exploring the relationships between different modes of writing, their composition and potential for delivering new techniques for story-telling. Her current Ph.D. pays particular attention to the role film culture plays within the digital realm, and the impact that affords expanding practices of narrative composition and meaning making within fiction.
