Adeola Abiodun Adeoti

Adeola Abiodun Adeoti is a textile artist and Ph.D. holder in art history from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria. She was formally a chief lecturer at Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun, as a textile artist in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, and dean at the School of Vocational and Technical Education, before she joined the service of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. Adeola Adeoti has publications in various journals across Nigeria and has participated in joint exhibitions. She belongs to many organizations and associations, among which are the Society of Nigerian Artists, the Association for Educational Media and Technology, the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria, the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria and the Strategic Institute for Natural Resources and Human Development. She was also an ambassador for the Peace Federation of Nigeria in 2016. Dr Adeola Adeoti is a lover of music and sports. She has three albums to her credit. She has participated in the Colleges of Education Staff Sports Association of Nigeria in Scrabble and volleyball; she won a silver medal in Scrabble in 2003, while her team also won a silver medal in volleyball in 2003.
