Alex Gammon

Alex Gammon is an independent scholar and an alumnus of Florida State University with an academic interest in international affairs with a concentration in anthropology. He is currently an early childhood music educator under the Music Together model developed by Lili M. Levinowitz and researches early childhood music acquisition. His pursuit of anthropological and archaeological studies has taken him to the Cosa Excavations site in southwest Tuscany for the 2016 season to excavate the colony’s bath complex and catalogue findings. A strong interest in Italian cinema drives a portion of his academic work, specifically an interest in Paolo Sorrentino’s use of environment as an existential confrontation for his films’ protagonists.
