Alexia Kannas
Alexia Kannas teaches in the Department of Cinema Studies at RMIT (Melbourne, Australia). She holds a Ph.D. from Monash University and her book on Dario Argento’s film Deep Red will be published in 2017 (Wallflower/Columbia University Press). Her research interests include cult and alternative cinema and television, cinematic modernism and film music and sound. She is currently writing about ghosts, cinephilia and the film Carnival of Souls (Harvey, 1962).
