Alice Jacquelin

Alice Jacquelin received a Ph.D. in French and comparative literature from Université de Poitiers. Her research specializes in crime fiction and media studies. She is currently holding a position as a postdoctoral fellow at Limoges University in the European H2020 DETECt research project. Her recent publications focus on detective and crime novels, on transmedia ‘Country Noir’ in France and in the United States and on the reception of crime fiction in Europe and have appeared in journals such as Academic Quarter, Belphégor and Interrogations. She was also co-curator of the exhibition L’Europe du polar (2019–21) shown at the Bibliothèque des littératures policières (Paris) and as part of the Quais du polar festival in Lyon.
