Amaara Raheem is a choreographer, performer, researcher and writer. Her practice of movement is entangled in a wider mobility, a lived experience of migration and multiple belongings to place. She’s currently based part-time on Wurundjeri country (Melbourne) and part-time on Djab Wurrung country (Black Range), in Victoria, Australia. In 2021 Amaara completed a Ph.D. by practice at the School of Architecture and Urban Design, RMIT University.
