André Brett

Dr André Brett is lecturer of history at Curtin University, Western Australia. He has published widely on Australian and New Zealand history. In recognition of his contributions, the Australian Academy of the Humanities awarded him the 2021 Max Crawford Medal. His most recent book, with mapmaker Sam van der Weerden, is Can’t Get There from Here: New Zealand Passenger Rail Since 1920 (2021).
