Andrew Goodrich

Andrew Goodrich is an assistant professor of music in Music Education at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Goodrich’s research interests include student-centred teaching and learning and adult amateur music making. Goodrich has published articles in the leading music education journals including the Journal of Research in Music Education, Bulletin of the Council for Research in Music Education, Journal of Music Teacher Education and Update: Applications of Research in Music Education, and has also published in the International Journal of Community Music. Goodrich is a contributor to Troubling Certainty: Narrative Inquiry in Music Education, and forthcoming chapters in The Oxford Handbook of Preservice Music Teacher Education; Teaching School Jazz: Perspectives, Principles, and Strategies; and Identity, Politics, & Aesthetics in the Last Century of Black American Music.
