Asmita Sarkar
Asmita Sarkar is faculty member at the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art. She is a practising artist and her research interests include contemporary drawing and painting, art–science collaboration in art and design, and phenomenological aesthetics. She has published peered-reviewed articles in Tracey and Drawing Research Theory and Practice amongst other, and currently working on her practice-based Ph.D. thesis (registered in Manipal Academy of Higher Education) on phenomenology of contemporary painting.
