Aspa Kandyli
Aspa Kandyli is an MA American Studies Graduate (Utrecht University). She holds a BA in English language and literature, majoring in literature (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens). She is currently working as an English teacher and homework tutor in secondary education in the Netherlands and she is considering applying for a Ph.D. position. Her research interests are in the areas of Victorian literature and society, Dark Romanticism, Transcendentalism, post-9/11 American cinema, American popular culture, and race and ethnicity in America.
