Burkay Pasin

Burkay Pasin received a Ph.D. in architecture from the Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2014, with the thesis entitled ‘A Critical Reading of the Ottoman-Turkish Hamam as a Queered Space’. He is currently an associate professor at Yaşar University. His research areas are Turkish architectural design history and architectural design education, gender and space, and queer space. He has published various articles in journals such as OASE Journal of Architecture, METU Journal of Faculty of Architecture, Buildings, Journal of Design History and The Design Journal.
