Cathy Wade

Cathy Wade’s practice is focused through collaborative partnerships and based in Birmingham. Her work is bendable and durational, it seeks to understand the experience of the present and how art can be distributed and hosted. Her current research focuses on the relationship of the ‘feminine’ body to the vertical city. Past works include Longbridge Public Art Project 2013–17, Wheatley fellowship for 2015–16 and repeator at The Office for Art Design and Technology in 2017. Publications include Delineator (2014), After Carl (2014) and As We Alter It (2017). She is currently the course leader for MA arts in education practices at Birmingham City University.
