Claudia Padovani
Claudia Padovani is Associate Professor in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Padova (Italy). Her main areas of interest concern the transformation of political processes in the global context and their connection to the evolution of communication processes and technologies, with a special focus on gender equality issues and communication rights. On these issues she has published extensively, including co-editing a UNESCO syllabus on ‘Gender, Media and ICTs. New approaches for research, education and training’ (2019). She co-chairs the UNESCO Unitwin University Network on Gender Media and ICTs and is an active member of the IAMCR Task Force for the Global Alliance for Media and Gender.
