Connie Zheng

Connie Zheng is an interdisciplinary artist and writer in the Art Practice Department at the University of California, Berkeley. Born in China and raised in the United States, she draws frequently upon experiences of migration in her projects, which manifest as interconnections of text, video, performance, painting, drawing and installation. Her work seeks to consider the interrelations of ecology and political economies, migrations of bodies, materials and capital, and the troubled boundaries between private and public spaces.
