Daniel E. Coslett

Daniel E. Coslett is a former Fulbright researcher in Tunis and is currently a doctoral candidate on the University of Washington’s interdisciplinary Built Environment Ph.D. programme in Seattle. There he continues to study colonial, postcolonial and revolutionary North Africa, focusing on intersections among architectural design, urban planning, archaeology and conservation, as well as heritage management and tourism development. The sustained influence of antiquity in the development and representation of historical and contemporary Tunisian cityscapes is the subject of his dissertation project.
