Daniel E. Coslett
Daniel E. Coslett received a Ph.D. in the history and theory of built environments from the University of Washington, and an MA in the subject from Cornell University. He studies colonial and postcolonial North Africa and the Mediterranean region, focusing on the intersections of architecture and urban planning, preservation, archaeology, and tourism. Coslett has published several edited volumes and book chapters, as well as articles in publications including the International Journal of Islamic ArchitecturePublic Historian, and the Journal of North African Studies. He is an assistant professor of architectural history at Drexel University and an Associate Editor at the International Journal of Islamic Architecture.
