Despina Karakatsani
Despina Karakatsani is professor at the University of Peloponnese in Corinth-Greece, head of the Department of Social and Education Policy. She is author and co-author of 50 articles and six books in the field of history of pedagogy and citizenship education. Her special interests are citizenship education, multiculturalism and human rights education. She is President of Children’s Identity and Citizenship in Europe Association and member of NECE – Networking European Citizenship Education and Dare-Democracy and Human Rights Education. She has worked on different committees at the national educational level and participates in different European Projects.
