Diana R. Dansereau

Diana R. Dansereau is associate professor of music education at Boston University. She focuses her scholarship on early childhood music education and music education research. She is co-editor of Pluralism in American Music Education Research (Springer, 2018), and has presented her work in Psychology of Music, Journal of Research in Music Education, Bulletin of the Council for Research in Music Education, Journal of Music Teacher Education (JMTE), International Journal of Music in Early Childhood (IJMEC), International Journal of Community Music, Journal of Montessori Research, The Music Educators Journal, Perspectives: Journal of the Early Childhood Music & Movement Association and Massachusetts Music News. Diana is the founding editor of IJMEC (Intellect) and serves on the editorial board of JMTE. She received a BM degree from the Eastman School of Music; MME from The Pennsylvania State University; and Ph.D. from Georgia State University.
