Diego Bonelli
Diego Bonelli holds a Ph.D. in film from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He is an independent scholar on the relationship between film, media and tourism, on the representation of cities in cinema and on documentary film. In his research he relies on textual analysis and the examination of archival sources. He has published articles in Studies in Australasian Cinema, Journal of Tourism History and Journal of New Zealand Studies. He has also co-edited with Alfio Leotta the volume Audiovisual Tourism Promotion: A Critical Overview (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022).
