Elhem Younes
Elhem Younes was born in Tunis, Tunisia. She studied at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts of Tunis. She focuses on reflection and artistic work aimed at questioning the modalities of the construction of meaning, perception and imagination, especially in the new technologies era. The paintings, engravings and drawings and interactive installations projects on which she is currently working are part of an artistic approach focusing on the ‘indiscernible’ as aesthetic and as a mode of perception. She currently lives in Paris, where she is pursuing her Ph.D. studies and teaching history of digital art at the University of Paris 8 in aesthetics, sciences and arts technology.
