Garfield Benjamin

Garfield Benjamin is a postdoctoral researcher at Solent University, UK. They hold a Ph.D. from the University of Wolverhampton, now published as The Cyborg Subject by Palgrave Macmillan. Garfield’s work spans creative media practice and digital cultural theory, to explore issues surrounding the technologically mediated future of humanity. They work with online and interactive media, computer games, computer-generated images, film and sound, avatars, and augmented or virtual reality. Research interests include online privacy, digital identities, posthumanism, utopia and the Anthropocene.
