Gerardo Rodríguez-Salas

Gerardo Rodríguez-Salas is associate professor in English literature at the University of Granada (Spain). He holds an MA in gender studies from the University of Oxford. His research interests are the intersections of gender, nation and race in New Zealand and Australian literatures. He is the author of four books on Katherine Mansfield – the most recent one, Isolation Is Death to Me: Community Modernism in Katherine Mansfield (Comares, 2023) – and has co-edited the volumes Community in Twentieth-Century Fiction (Palgrave, 2013) and New Perspectives on the Modernist Subject (Routledge, 2018). His most recent articles have appeared in Journal of Commonwealth Literature, Language, Literature and Culture, Australian Literary Studies, Antipodes, Journal of New Zealand & Pacific Studies, and as a writer he was shortlisted for the 27th Andalusian Critics Award for his poetry book Anacronía (Valparaíso, 2020).
