Ghada Hashem Talhimi

Ghada Hashem Talhami is the D. K. Pearsons professor of politics, emerita at Lake Forest College. She has published extensively on identity, print culture and women in the Arab world. Her publications include Suakin and Massawa under Egyptian Rule (University Press of America, 1979), Palestine and Egyptian National Identity (Praeger, 1992), Palestine in the Egyptian Press: From al-Ahram to al-Ahali (Lexington Books, 2010), Syria and the Palestinians: The Clash of Nationalisms (University Press of Florida, 2009), Palestinian Refugee: Pawns to Political Actors among many more. She is on the editorial board of Arab Studies Quarterly and the Muslim World.
