Hardina Ohlendorf

Hardina Ohlendorf is a lecturer in the Social Science Division of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), Thailand. She got her Ph.D. in politics and international studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Prior to joining MUIC, she worked as a full-time teaching fellow at SOAS and later moved to Taiwan for a postdoctoral research position at the Institute of Sociology of Academia Sinica with the Taiwan Fellowship. In her research, Hardina looks at Taiwan identity constructions, public space and public memory in post-authoritarian societies, political dimensions of tourism, and Chinese identities in borderland areas.
