Helena Bacon
Dr Helena Bacon holds a Ph.D. in creative and critical writing along with a first-class honours degree in English literature and creative writing and a master’s in literature and culture from the mid-nineteenth century onwards. With a professional background in higher education, widening participation, mentoring and the heritage sector, Helena has acquired a broad variety of skills that display both professional and scholarly fortitude and focus. Alongside her professional portfolio, she has presented at conferences across Europe and the Americas, produced articles and reports for publication both individually and collaboratively, and developed and coordinated a wide-range school-based outreach programmes and activities. She has won various awards and grants and now works as a lecturer in film at the University of Suffolk.
