Hermann Mückler
Hermann Mückler is professor of cultural anthropology at the University of Vienna. Focusing on Oceania and Australia, his research examines historical topics, colonialism, conflict and popular culture. He serves as president of the Anthropological Society in Vienna. He has written and (co)edited 27 books, with his most recent publications Die Marshall-Inseln und Nauru in deutscher Kolonialzeit (The Marshall Islands and Nauru in German Colonial Times) (2016) and Australien, Ozeanien, Neuseeland (Australia, Oceania, New Zealand) (2020).
