Ibrahim Saleh
Ibrahim Saleh is a senior lecturer (associated professor) and convenor of political communication at the University of Cape Town (UCT). Saleh is a Fulbright scholar and chair of the Journalism Research and Education Section in the International Association for Media & Communication Research (IAMCR). Saleh is the author of three monographs including Unveiling the Truth About Middle Eastern Media: Privatization in Egypt: Hope or Dope? and Prior To the Eruption of the Grapes of Wrath in the Middle East: The Necessity of Communicating Instead of Clashing. Saleh worked as print and TV journalist for seven years. Most of Saleh’s scholarly research are indexed publications. Saleh also edits the Global Media Journal African Edition, and serves as Global Partner Organization of the UN Alliance of Civilization Media Literacy Education Clearinghouse.
