J. B. O’Ready writes and draws comics, including X-Men, The Hulk, Death Sentence and Death Sentence Liberty with Mike Dowling and Martin Simmonds for Titan Comics, Hollow Monsters on Kickstarter, @MontyandZuzu with Zyzanna Dominiak (online) and various other stories for Marvel, Delcourt, Vertigo and 2000ad. He has a master's with distinction in comics and graphic novels from the University of Dundee, where he won the Duncan of Jordanstone Prize. He presented a paper on the borders between representations of female, Muslim and superheroic identity at IGNCC 2017 and a paper on Alan Moore’s Future Shocks at IGNCC 2018. He is a member of Dundee University’s Inkpot comics studio and a painter of giant street-art murals across Dundee. His agent for written work is James Wills, Watson Little Ltd.
