Janet A. Parsons
Janet Parsons is a research scientist at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael’s Hospital and assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute, University of Toronto. She specializes in the development and application of visual and narrative methods to a wide range of health research topics, with a focus on health equity. She has used photography, film, drawing and narrative in her research. She practiced clinically as a physiotherapist in the fields of critical care and surgical oncology for eighteen years, and is experienced in qualitative and quantitative approaches to research and evaluation.
