Janet Lynn Roseman

Janet Lynn Roseman has a Ph.D. in Dance Theory and Criticism. She has worked as a dance critic for over a decade and is a registered dance therapist, a reiki master and a shaman. Currently, she is an assistant professor in medical education at Nova Southeastern's Osteopathic School of Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, specializing in teaching and creating curriculum in spirituality and medicine and compassionate care. She was an adjunct professor at Pacifica Graduate School in Santa Barbara, California in 2010, teaching a course she designed in ancient healing rites from the Asclepiad tradition of healing. A former David Larson Fellow in spirituality and medicine at the Kluge Center for Scholars at the Library of Congress (2006), she has written several books on dance, including Dance Was Her Religion: The Spiritual Choreography of Isadora Duncan, Ruth St. Denis and Martha Graham and Dance Masters: Interviews with Legends of Dance. Dr Roseman teaches workshops in spirituality and medicine, Illuminated ReikiTM and Illuminated Dream HealingTM.
