Jason Netherton
Jason Netherton is a Ph.D. candidate with the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. His research focuses on the political economy of the music and culture industries, with a specific interest in recording artists working in the digital music economy. He is also the author of Extremity Retained: Notes from the Death Metal Underground and the bassist and vocalist of the extreme metal band Misery Index.
