Jerry Padfield

Jerry Padfield is a Ph.D. candidate at Falmouth University, in the environmental futures research programme where he is researching methods to broaden participation in community radio amongst under-represented groups, with a particular emphasis on mental health. He holds a Master of Arts in creative media practice from the University of the West of Scotland. His research interests are in the fields of community media, podcasting, mental health, WebRTC and other open-source software. He is the early careers researcher development officer for the MeCCSA Radio Studies Network and helps to organize the Radio Studies Network Reading Group.
